About the Workshop

This interactive workshop will provide an update on the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to respond efficiently and effectively to the disclosure requirements. A key component of the course will be to discuss approaches and challenges with other participants to enable peer exchange. This workshop is a successor to the one offered by A4S in 2024, and participants should have an understanding of CSRD in advance. Most attending companies will have already provided an initial CSRD report or will be preparing one in the next fiscal year.

Target Audience

The workshop is aimed at finance, accounting, and audit professionals who have (or will have) direct involvement with disclosure in accordance with the CSRD. Sustainability professionals are also welcome to attend alongside their finance and accounting colleagues, given the collaboration required for CSRD reporting.

Course Objectives

After attending the workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the reporting requirements under the CSRD.

  • Understand the role of the control environment in enhancing sustainability data quality.

  • Develop actionable steps to prepare for sustainability disclosure in accordance with CSRD.

Cost

There is no cost to attend this workshop. However, due to the program being offered free of charge, no refunds will be issued. Space is limited, and registering interest does not guarantee acceptance to the workshop.
